Our client wanted to explore best practices into cutting-edge practices for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), NextGen Navigation Systems, and strategies for managing vehicle energy efficiently.
The objective was to develop a comprehensive benchmark of OEM and Tier 1 approachesto next gen navigation-enabled energy management, including technology maturity, integration architectures, and R&D priorities. The study aimed to identify key enablers, competitive positioning, and future development pathways to inform strategic decision-making.
10EQS conducted in-depth interviews with key stakeholders from leading OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers across different regions. 10EQS examined how these player simplement ADAS and next gen navigation features while managing energy consumption and overall vehicle performance.
10EQS synthesized the findings into a technology maturity and competitive positioning framework, including near-and mid-term R&D priorities. The study found that energy management capabilities are increasingly enabled by deeper system integration, with centralized data and control architectures unlocking more advanced use cases, while most OEMs still rely on software-layer integration as an interim solution.
