Situation

Our client wanted to explore best practices into cutting-edge practices for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), NextGen Navigation Systems, and strategies for managing vehicle energy efficiently.

Objective

The objective was to develop a comprehensive benchmark of OEM and Tier 1 approachesto next gen navigation-enabled energy management, including technology maturity, integration architectures, and R&D priorities. The study aimed to identify key enablers, competitive positioning, and future development pathways to inform strategic decision-making.

Results

10EQS synthesized the findings into a technology maturity and competitive positioning framework, including near-and mid-term R&D priorities. The study found that energy management capabilities are increasingly enabled by deeper system integration, with centralized data and control architectures unlocking more advanced use cases, while most OEMs still rely on software-layer integration as an interim solution.
