Our client aimed to develop a research report on AI in manufacturing, and sought to understand how AI is being adopted across manufacturing environments, including Generative, Agentic, and Physical AI.
The objective was to develop an outside-in perspective on AI maturity inmanufacturing, identifying high-impact use cases, barriers to scale, and emerging operating models.
10EQS interviewed leadership-level manufacturing experts across automotive, industrials, aerospace, and electronics manufacturing with a particular geo focus on Asia-Pacific. 10EQS identified leading use cases across predictive maintenance, planning, quality control, supply chain optimization, and digital twins.
The research showed that manufacturing is at a clear inflection point, with most organizations moving beyond isolated pilots but still far from achieving fully systemic AI integration across operations. It also identified that data infrastructure is the primary constraint, with leading manufacturers differentiating through integrated “digital thread” architectures, hybrid governance models, and workforce transformation, defining a clear pathway to scalable, enterprise-wide AI impact.
