Eberhard von Löhneysen

Eberhard von Löhneysen

Eberhard von Löhneysen, founder of the 10EQS group, has built an extensive career in business consulting and corporate management. After working at the World Bank with a focus on Latin America for eight years, Eberhard spent more than two decades with McKinsey & Co. in different fields and countries. He was responsible for the German financial institutions practice and managed the McKinsey office in Berlin for several years; later he moved to Moscow, where he was responsible for the Eastern European office complex. He is intimately familiar with all aspects of consulting and management processes. After leaving consulting, Eberhard most recently worked as group CEO of a leading Russian consumer goods and financial services conglomerate.

Sugath Warnakulasuriya

Sugath Warnakulasuriya

Sugath Warnakulasuriya, CEO, has over 25 years of operational and management consulting experience, developing and executing transformational strategies in product, sales, and marketing across a wide range of industries. Previously, he was an independent consultant serving Fortune 500 companies, an Industry Executive at EDS managing the strategic direction of the company within the high-tech industry, and an Associate at McKinsey & Company serving enterprise software and financial services clients as a part of the business technology practice. He also co-founded and was CTO of eLink Commerce, a collaborative B2B logistics provider. Sugath has a PhD in Computer Engineering and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.

Mehrdad Baghai

Mehrdad Baghai

Mehrdad is a strategic advisor to 10EQS. He is Managing Director of Alchemy Growth Partners, a boutique advisory and venture firm in Australia. For over 20 years, Mehrdad has advised incumbents and attackers on their growth strategies especially in turbulent environments. He is co-author of the New York Times bestseller As One as well as international bestsellers The Alchemy of Growth and The Granularity of Growth. Prior to Alchemy Growth Partners, Mehrdad was a partner and co-leader of the worldwide growth practice at McKinsey & Company. He has served as an Executive Director at the CSIRO, Australia's national science agency as well as on several boards of technology ventures. Mehrdad and his wife Roya are co-founders of High Resolves, a community service project around global citizenship, which has engaged over 50,000 high school students. Mehrdad received a B.S.E. with highest honours from Princeton University, an M.P.P. as a Kennedy Fellow at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and a J.D. with high honours at Harvard Law School. Mehrdad is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute and chairman of the Australian American Leadership Dialogue.

Andrés von Löhneysen

Andrés von Löhneysen

Andrés' practical experience stems from various internships in the financial services industry, such as conducting due diligence for DLJ Merchant Banking Partners London, UK, the private equity branch of Credit Suisse, and modelling DCF valuations to assist in investment decisions at the Warburg Value Fund for M. M. Warburg Bank in Zürich, Switzerland. Andrés holds a degree in Economics from the University of Freiburg, Germany. His diploma thesis focused on the use of intangible assets as funding source and investment product, a project conducted in cooperation with the McKinsey Risk Management Practice Frankfurt, Germany.

Guy Cook

Guy Cook

Guy Cook, Vice President, Sales has over 30 years experience in a variety of corporate operations and management consulting positions. These include Principal, CreationWave Management Consulting, Founder and CEO of SuperNet (Internet/Web Services) and Vice President, Product and International, Qwest Communications. He has extensive background in Internet/Telecommunications, SaaS initiatives and optimization of sales and marketing programs. Guy currently serves on five corporate Advisory Boards covering mobile platforms, applications, web, media, financial and transaction services.

David Day

David Day

David joined 10EQS from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was the Managing Director of the Global Energy Practice. David leads 10EQS' efforts in the Energy sector with his extensive experience in the sales and delivery of business and information technology transformation programs with Global Fortune 500 Energy companies. As Managing Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, David sold and led the merger of 40 separate energy portfolio companies into one operating entity. From 1989 to 2008, he held many leadership roles at Acccenture, including Partner and Senior Executive of the Global Energy Practice.

Raphael Hegeler

Raphael Hegeler

Raphael joined 10EQS from Dell Inc., where he was the Director of Strategy and Business management for Dell Inc.’s Consumer and SMB business unit in APJ. Since joining Dell in 2007, he has developed strategic initiatives for Sales and Marketing in EMEA, crafted the Strategy for the newly formed global SMB business unit, and led a Go-to-Market business transformation in the Top 10 markets.

Prior to joining Dell, Raphael was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Co. in the Munich and Paris offices of the Firm. His client engagements focused on Sales, Marketing and Finance primarily in High Tech and Telecoms. Prior to his consulting experience, Raphael was a Team Leader in Intel Corp’s e-Business and Developer Relations Group in the EMEA region. In this function he worked with leading developers and system integrators to generate and promote innovative business solutions for the then nascent Digital Economy.

Raphael holds a PGP/MBA from the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad/India and a BSc (Hons) in International Management from the ESB Reutlingen/Germany and the Reims Management School/France.

Stephen Scheeler

Stephen Scheeler, Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand, has 20 years of strategy and business development experience, first with Braxton Associates (now part of Deloitte), and later with two iconic Australian companies - Lion and Westfield - and with Inchcape, one of the world's largest automotive retail groups. In each of these, Stephen held senior strategy, marketing, innovation and business development roles. He has worked across CPG, retail, automotive, technology, financial services and energy.

Maxim Kalmykov

Maxim Kalmykov is a Managing Director for Russia/CIS with more than 15 years of strategic and operational experience in industrial and information technology, basic materials, financial services, consumer goods and the public sector in Eastern Europe, Latin America, Middle East and the United States. A graduate of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, at different stages of his career Maxim worked at General Electric, Cisco Systems, McKinsey & Co, Lehman Brothers and Procter & Gamble. At 10EQS, Maxim is building a client base in Russia and other Commonwealth of Independent States countries by generating and supervising projects for top tier companies in the region, as well as attracting top quality teams for project execution.

Andreas Merbecks

Andreas Merbecks

Andreas Merbecks, Managing Director, Western Europe, has 24 years of management consulting and corporate management experience. Andreas spent the first 16 years of his career with McKinsey & Company serving financial institutions and clients from other industries in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Turkey on a broad range of topics including strategy, risk, M&A, and marketing. As a Partner, he was responsible for the German risk management practice and the European CRM practice for several years. Andreas has five years of corporate management experience with UBS where he was Managing Director Group Risk and Finance. Most recently Andreas worked as a Partner with management consultants BearingPoint leading the business strategy and transformation practice. Andreas holds a PhD in Economics (Risk Management) and a Diploma in Economics from the University of Bochum, Germany.

Peter Scherer

Peter Scherer

Over a distinguished career in the World Bank, Peter has accumulated a wealth of public and private sector experience in emerging markets of Latin America, Asia and Africa. After receiving his PHD in Goethe University in Frankfurt, Peter joined the World Bank where he managed large assistance programs in a broad range of sectors, including telecom, energy, financial services, and industrial production. He also worked extensively in the restructuring and privatization of public sector enterprises and banks, and in formulating and implementing public sector reform programs. During his career in the World Bank, Peter received awards for outstanding project management and supervision. After retiring from the World Bank, Peter has continued his career as a renowned consultant to governments and key institutions in emerging markets, especially on national competitiveness, public sector restructuring and infrastructure policy issues.
